`DAMN 2019~

“Don’t fix the broken, you’ll end up the same way.” “I’m not fixing you. I actually like you, the way you are.” Guess what! I have been on both spectra. At times, I wasn’t sure whether I said that or I was the one who replied. Being single this year has placed me in passiveness, but that doesn’t mean I never became active. I tried. I surely tried. I partly regret some people for I neglected them, or they neglected me that’s why I regret them now. It’s shameful to admit that either is almost always the case. This is the third year-ender entry since the inception of this blog and it is getting more personal.  Just a disclaimer.  My head aches. Last year I wrote about heartaches and asked ‘who has a heart that doesn’t ache?’ I guess our heads are no better bearer. What’s worse - being emotionally bruised or physically scarred? I realized pain is still compared even the agony is shared. My head aches and my eyes have no tears to shed. Don’t make me count t...

`Damn 2018~

18 is such a checkpoint. The rite of passage that we dreadfully await, hoping for a, if not better, newer experience in life.  Nope. I’m not going to put an effort into making a decent introduction for this one. What’s the point of painting a picture that is different from what you feel and think? At some point, we all have been there – not knowing what we really want. It kind of sucks – not knowing . But why does ‘ knowing ’ seem to suck even more? Knowing that something ...

`Damn 2017~

THE TIME OF THE YEAR.  What did 2017 teach you? Has it taught you anything at all? Because for me, it surely has. 2017 taught me greatly and here are the lessons I learned from this year: ~You cannot control everything.  No matter how badly you want to have control over everything, you just can't. You will never control everything in your life, BUT you can control how you react to it - and that will surely make a big difference.  ~You can only wish good for your friends; it's only they who can wish what's best for them.  It's their life - their choices, their decision. You cannot dictate how they'll live their life; you can only influence them.  ~You cannot blame others for who you are. Every action you make and every word you speak reflect on you and you should take responsibility for them. Your shortcomings are your deeds and yours only; it's not right to shift blame. Man up and own your mistakes.  ~You can either KISS o...
